Khaberni - The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship announced its leadership in the results of the National Integrity Index for 2024–2025 and obtaining the first place in the category of ministries, having achieved the highest scores in evaluating compliance and adherence to the application of national integrity standards, which include the rule of law, accountability and scrutiny, transparency, equality and justice and equal opportunities, and sound governance.
The award was received by the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Engineer Sami Al-Samirat, during the celebration held by the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission today in Amman, in the presence of the Prime Minister's delegate, the Minister of State for Political and Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Abdelmonem Al-Oudat.
The Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Engineer Sami Al-Samirat, stated that leading the National Integrity Index represents a national achievement that reflects the ministry's commitment to enhancing an integrity and transparency system in institutional work, indicating that this appreciation is the result of an integrative effort by the ministry’s teams, which were keen to integrate principles of sound governance in all aspects of performance, from planning national projects to developing digital services provided to citizens.
Al-Samirat added that this achievement is in line with the noble royal directives to establish a culture of integrity as one of the pillars of comprehensive modernization, and with the vision of economic modernization and the public sector modernization roadmap, affirming that the ministry will continue its efforts in improving institutional performance efficiency and enhancing the quality of digital government services to boost citizen confidence and elevate the image of government performance.
On her part, the Secretary-General of the Ministry, Samira Al-Zaabi, expressed her pride in this achievement that reflects an institutional culture based on values, responsibility, and national commitment, asserting that the ministry considers integrity and transparency a strategic approach in developing public work and digital transformation, and that this appreciation is a motivation to continue working on embedding the national standards in institutional performance.
This victory continues the ministry's journey in enhancing sound governance, transparency, and accountability in the digital sector, and reflects its vision in building a public administration capable of providing effective digital services based on the values of integrity, justice, and equal opportunities.
