Khaberni - The Anti-Wall and Settlement Authority revealed the Israeli occupation authorities’ seizure of more than 70 dunams through a military and security expropriation order from the lands of Qaryut, Al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, and Sawiya villages in Nablus Governorate, for the purpose of establishing a buffer zone around the "Eli" settlement.
The authority indicated that the information in the military order, which bears the number T/136/25, states that the order is valid until December 31, 2027, from the date of its signing, while the data available in the order's attachments indicate that the period for objections is one week from the order's issuance date. It is noteworthy that the date appended to the military order goes back to September 21, 2025, meaning that the occupation state published the military order after the specified period for objections had elapsed.
The authority clarified that the total area specified in the document amounted to 70 dunams and 147 square meters, with 15.778 dunams of land originally classified as state land allocated for the military order, while the occupation authorities seized a total of 54.368 dunams according to the new order.
The data from the Anti-Wall and Settlement Authority indicated that since the beginning of 2025, the occupation state has issued a total of 53 orders for military purposes of various kinds, in a noticeable intensification of the use of this type of orders under military pretexts to control Palestinian lands.
