Khaberni - A child of a Palestinian pursued in the town of Tammun, south of Tubas, was martyred after being shot by the authority's security forces in the town south of Tubas.
Local pages stated that the child Yazan Samara (15 years old), the son of Samer Samara Bani Odeh, who was pursued by the Israeli occupation, was martyred on Sunday evening after gunfire targeted a vehicle carrying him and his family members in the town of Tammun, south of Tubas, while his sister was martyred hours later, affected by a gunshot wound to the head.
Local pages mentioned that the authority's security forces injured the pursued, Samer Samara, and arrested him after this incident.
Following the incident, the Committee of Families of Political Detainees condemned what they described as a "grave crime" committed by the security forces of the authority, considering it as part of a systematic policy to pursue resisters and those pursued by the occupation, even if the cost is "the shedding of Palestinian blood," according to their statement.
The committee said that the continuation of this security approach, based on tracking those whom "Israel" targets, represents a "serious deviation in the national compass," putting the forces in a position of conflict with their own people instead of protecting them, holding responsible every entity that issued the orders or participated in the execution or provided the political cover for the incident.
They added that attempts to justify what happened or portray it as a routine security procedure do not change the fact that the blood that was shed is Palestinian blood spilled as a result of a decision to persecute someone pursued by the occupation.
The committee demanded an immediate cessation of the policy of persecuting the pursued and the release of political prisoners held on the basis of their resistance activities or political opinions.
In a related context, the movement "Hamas" in an urgent statement said that the killing by the authority's forces of the son of the pursued, Samer Samara, is a "crime reflecting the seriousness of repressive policies," warning of its consequences, and demanding the accountability of those involved in the incident and the release of the political prisoners.
