Netanyahu We have asked for the dismantling of all infrastructure that enables Iran to enrich uranium

Khaberni - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that the deal with Iran must include the dismantling of nuclear infrastructure, not just a cessation of enrichment processes.

Netanyahu noted that during talks in Washington, he requested that the range of Iranian ballistic missiles be limited to only 300 kilometers.

Netanyahu's statements come at a time when the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi left on Sunday for Switzerland for the second round of talks with the United States, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

Tehran and Washington resumed their negotiations in Muscat on the sixth of February, after months of collapse of the previous talks following Israel's launch of a war on Iran last June, which lasted twelve days.

The recent talks occur under the threat of a military action by Washington against Tehran, following the deployment of an aircraft carrier and its military group in the region after a deadly suppression of protests against the Iranian authorities last month.

Iran insists that the talks should be limited to the nuclear issue which Western countries suspect is aimed at developing nuclear weapons, a claim consistently denied by Tehran.

Meanwhile, US and Western officials have spoken about the necessity for any agreement with Iran to also address its ballistic program and its support for armed groups in the region.

Switzerland plays a pivotal role in diplomatic relations between Iran and the United States for decades.
