Khaberni - Colonel Avichai Adraei, the former spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces for Arab media and the Middle East, announced handing over his duties to Major Ella Waawia after a service career spanning about twenty years in this position.
Adraei said in a statement: "Today, after a journey of about twenty years serving the Defense Forces as head of the Arab and Middle Eastern media unit, I stand at the duty exchange ceremony, where I hand over the flag to my colleague Major Ella Waawia."
Adraei reassured the followers, saying, "Rest assured; in the upcoming period, I will continue in my role and will speak for the Defense Forces and communicate with you through my official social media accounts, especially concerning operational matters, various alerts, and more as you are accustomed to."
He confirmed that "I will always be a support for Ella and the officials in the office of the spokesman for the Defense Forces until my final discharge date from the Defense Forces," noting that "in the coming days, we will summarize our key achievements and major milestones in the Defense Forces."
