Khaberni - Chevrolet agency in Post Falls, Idaho, launched an unconventional promotional campaign, where anyone who buys a new car during October receives a $500 credit for purchasing a firearm, in addition to a free American flag.
The weapon is not given directly by the agency but rather, customers receive purchase vouchers that can be exchanged at the local sporting goods store, Black Sheep, located in the neighboring city of Coeur d'Alene.

Although the campaign might seem to embody a stereotypical American image, customers welcomed it enthusiastically, with many sharing photos of themselves holding the flag and the rifle while celebrating their new cars.

It appears that the agency uses the same rifle in the promotional photos, as it appeared in several images of customers on its Facebook page.

According to the offer, new buyers can choose from a variety of weapons, for example: a Silverado buyer who received a $500 credit can add just $50 to purchase a Springfield Hellcat pistol priced at $550.
For those who prefer a larger size, they can celebrate their new Tahoe by purchasing a Colt Commander pistol priced at $950, paying a larger difference out of pocket.
For hunting enthusiasts, options like the Ruger American priced at $620 or the Remington 700 priced at $700 are available, and in all cases, the buyer must pay any additional amount exceeding the $500 voucher value.
This campaign comes at a time when American car agencies are trying to attract customers with new offers after the end of the clean vehicle tax incentive program, but Knudtsen Chevrolet decided to "fire off" in a completely different way.
