Four students from Rahbat Rukad Secondary School for Boys located in the North Eastern Badia Education District achieved the first place globally in the Afro-Asian Innovation Competition 2025 that was held in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
The students participated in the contest representing the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The school principal, Ikhleif Al-Athamat, told "Khaberni" that the students have made significant efforts since last year on their project through the award, noting that the four students are from the first year of secondary "BTEC".
Al-Athamat continued that the school students won the first place at the level of Jordan, which qualified them to participate at the level of Asia and Africa in Malaysia, explaining that they traveled to Malaysia last Friday and today the results of the qualifications were announced where they won the first place.
The winning students are Youssef Mohammad Al-Sharafat, Zaid Eid Al-Athamat, Younis Awad Al-Athamat, and Ibrahim Hamoud Al-Mustafa, with the supervision and follow-up of the teacher Usman Ahmad Al-Masaeed.
The Jordanian team's victory in the competition was in the field of Mobile Application Development, as part of the global BTEC programs, and the young Jordanian team innovated a smart application that embodies Jordanian innovation in employing technology to serve the community and achieve sustainable development.
