Khaberni - The Iranian Revolutionary Guard strongly condemned the assassination of several senior sheikhs and tribal elders of the Sunni Baluch in the Sistan and Baluchistan province in southeastern Iran, in an attack carried out by armed groups.
A statement from the "Quds" headquarters of the ground forces of the Guard emphasized that this crime will not go unpunished, stressing that the planners and perpetrators of the operation will face a decisive response.
The statement also called for strengthening unity among the people of the region to counter attempts to sow discord and division.
The statement added, "The mercenary groups affiliated with the Zionist entity, through their recent crime and the assassination of several elders and sheikhs of the Sunni tribes, including: Mulla Kamal, Reda Azarkish, Parviz Kadkhodaie, and Shams Asakani, have revealed their malicious truth and hostility towards Islam."
The Revolutionary Guard confirmed that this crime will not affect the strong unity between the Shiite and Sunni sects in the Sistan and Baluchistan region.
It warned that "the perpetrators and planners of this crime will soon receive their just retribution."
