Emirati Alliance Seeks to Acquire Manchester United

Khaberni - Media reports today, Sunday, stated that English football legend David Beckham has received an offer to participate in supporting an Emirati alliance that is aiming to make a potential acquisition bid for Manchester United.

Speculations have been raised about the readiness of a coalition from the United Arab Emirates to present an offer to buy the majority stake owned by the Glazer family in Manchester United.

According to the "Star" and "Mirror" newspapers, this alliance wishes for the former Manchester United winger, David Beckham, to serve as the ambassador for the bid.

Beckham, who is 50 years old, owns stakes in Inter Miami and Salford clubs, and might also get an opportunity to invest in Manchester United.

Beckham has previously criticized the period Manchester United spent under the Glazer family’s ownership and called for the former owners of his club to sell it in 2023, revealing his readiness to participate in the club's future.

It is worth mentioning that the "Ineos" group, owned by British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, took control of the football operations at Manchester United after purchasing a stake that amounted to 27.7% of the club's shares in February 2024, and since then, the group's share has risen to about 29%.
