Khaberni - Joint field campaigns throughout all regions of Saudi Arabia apprehended 23,094 violators of the residence, work, and border security systems. Included are 13,604 violators of the residence system, 4,816 violators of the border security system, and 4,674 violators of the employment system, during the period from October 9 to October 15, 2025.
Among those apprehended, 2,061 individuals attempted to cross into the kingdom, among them 43% Yemenis, 56% Ethiopians, and 1% from other nationalities. Additionally, 27 individuals were caught attempting to exit the kingdom unlawfully, alongside 17 involved in transporting, harboring, and employing violators and covering up their activities.
Currently, 31,614 non-compliant expatriates are under procedures for implementing regulations, including 29,933 men and 1,681 women. A total of 22,989 violators were handed over to their diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents, and 3,568 violators to complete their travel bookings, with 13,725 violators being deported.
The Ministry of Interior affirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry of violators of the border security system into the kingdom or their transportation within it, or provides them shelter, any assistance, or services in any way, exposes themselves to penalties including up to 15 years in prison, a fine of up to one million riyals, confiscation of the transport and housing used for harboring, in addition to public defamation.
It clarified that this crime is considered among the major crimes warranting detention, violating honor and integrity, and urged reporting any such violations to the number (911) in the regions of Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and Eastern Province, or (999) and (996) in the rest of the kingdom's regions.
