Khaberni - Recent scientific research has shown that consuming 4 cups of black tea daily contributes to lowering blood pressure and cholesterol and reducing the risk of heart disease.
Studies have shown that drinking between one to four cups of black tea daily helps lower blood pressure, improve cholesterol levels, reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes, and contribute to regulating blood sugar levels and preventing type 2 diabetes.
Dr. Tim Bond, from the Tea Advisory Panel, explained that research published in the journal "Frontiers in Nutrition" confirms the role of polyphenol compounds, especially "flavan-3-ols," in enhancing heart health and reducing the risk of chronic diseases by up to 19%, as well as reducing mortality from heart and vascular diseases by 13%.
He indicated that the American Nutrition Association recommends the consumption of 400 to 600 mg of these compounds daily, which is equivalent to about four cups of black tea, to achieve optimal benefits.
The results suggest that black tea works to reduce inflammation and stress in the body, and maintains the elasticity of blood vessels, making it an ideal drink for supporting overall health when consumed regularly.
