Khaberni - Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, joked about the possibility of taking a break, following the advice from his former assistant Carles Planchart, confirming that "in 2035" he will start thinking about it.
The coach, who has a contract until the end of the 2026-2027 season with City, stated on Friday at the press conference before the Premier League match against Everton "he might be right, in 2035 I will start thinking about it."
He added: "We have changed a lot in the past year, yet, the energy of the technical staff and the new players are still present.. In Barcelona and Bayern Munich, if I had a problem, I would step aside, here I have not encountered that problem."
He continued, saying: "We are not the same people since we started, the relationship I have with the club's officials is very close, it is not just about me, as many members of my technical staff have left, each with their own preferences and desires, but I am still here in front of you now, and then we will see."
The Spanish coach confirmed: "Currently, I still have the energy and I believe we can perform better than last season, that is my goal.. I will never stand here, in early November or December, and say we will win this or that, I see that we are doing things better than last season and we're improving a little every match, there is scope for improvement and this gives me the energy that the job is not yet done, I still have things to do here and that's why I am still here."
