Ipsos 62 of Jordanians Consider Unemployment the Biggest Economic Challenge

Khaberni - The Ipsos Consumer Confidence Index report in Jordan revealed that unemployment remains the greatest challenge facing the national economy from the citizens' perspective, followed by other issues that directly affect daily and living conditions.

According to the survey conducted in September 2025, 62% of Jordanians consider unemployment to be the biggest economic concern, while 51% indicated that the rising cost of living ranks second among the most prominent challenges.

Poverty and social inequality ranked third at 42%, followed by education at 24%, while healthcare was in fifth place with only 17%.

The report clarified that these results reflect the continuing economic pressures faced by the citizen and clearly show the priorities that Jordanians believe urgently need addressing by decision-makers.

These indicators are part of the quarterly national survey conducted by Ipsos to monitor Jordanian consumer trends and assess current and future economic and living conditions.
