As part of the policy of expanding the arming of settlers 300000 Israelis heavily armed in Jerusalem

Khaberni - More than 300,000 settlers in occupied Jerusalem are armed against Palestinians, as part of a policy to expand the arming of settlers, according to instructions from the extremist minister "Itamar Ben Gvir" in the occupation government, which indicates a serious escalation of security conditions within the holy city.

Moreover, the situation is worsened by the fact that the "arming" coincides with the mobilization of "Temple" groups, allegedly, for widespread incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque to celebrate the so-called Jewish "Passover" that lasts until the 9th of April, which includes performing group prayers and sacrificial slaughter inside it, exploiting the occupation's emptying it of Palestinians.

In the wake of the continuous closure by the occupation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Arab League Council held an extraordinary session at the level of permanent delegates in Cairo yesterday to discuss the issue of closing the blessed "Al-Aqsa".

Extremist groups demand that "Al-Aqsa" be opened to settlers throughout their alleged festival period, aiming to reinforce their control over the mosque amidst escalating propaganda campaigns by "Temple" organizations, allegedly, which used artificial intelligence technologies to spread images representing the "sacrificial feast" and the biblical altar inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Yesterday, Palestinian calls escalated for a rally towards the nearest points and military barriers surrounding it, to break the siege imposed on it and force its reopening.

Palestinian factions and forces called on the people of Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 to continue heading towards Al-Aqsa Mosque and pray at the nearest point to it, rejecting the continuous closure, and fervently calling for its reopening to Palestinians.

The occupation forces continue to fully close Al-Aqsa Mosque, today being the 34th consecutive day, preventing worshippers from reaching it and performing their prayers inside it, similarly continuing the closure of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, under the pretext of "declaring a state of emergency" which it exploits in an attempt to change the legal and historical status of the religious sanctuaries, to no avail.

This coincides with the issuance by the occupation of 60 new expulsion orders against Palestinians from the Al-Aqsa Mosque and occupied Jerusalem, amid tightened military measures around the city of Jerusalem, the old town, and the entrances to Palestinian cities and towns in the West Bank, with intensive presence of its elements.

The escalation of the occupation in occupied Jerusalem includes policies of expulsion, demolition, arrests, and arming of settlers; wherein the Palestinian Wadi Hilweh Information Center documented about 60 expulsion orders issued last month, March, from Al-Aqsa Mosque, the old town, the city of Jerusalem and surrounding areas, lasting between one week and six months.

The Palestinian center stated yesterday that the occupation forces cold-bloodedly executed four Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem and its suburbs, in the areas of Jabal Mukaber, Bethlehem, and Qalandiya refugee camp north of Jerusalem.

The occupation authorities evicted 15 residential apartments in the Batn Al-Hawa neighborhood in the town of Silwan in occupied Jerusalem, leading to the displacement of about 90 Palestinians, as well as demolishing 12 facilities in Silwan, Sur Baher, and Umm Tuba, displacing about 40 additional Palestinians, in addition to demolishing a monument to martyrs in Shuafat refugee camp.

In the file of arrests, the occupation authorities continued their daily campaigns in occupied Jerusalem, targeting children, youths, women, and the elderly, as well as dozens of West Bank ID holders, bringing the number of detainees to more than 330 Palestinians, including four young men transferred to administrative detention, one of whom is an employee in the Islamic Waqf Department.

The center said that last month, about 10 settlers attempted to present "two goats as sacrifices" near Al-Aqsa Mosque, and they were stopped and the animals confiscated, as part of an escalation of their violations.

These developments continue amidst the ongoing closure since the outbreak of the joint American-Israeli aggression on Iran on February 28th, which prevented worshippers from performing prayers on most days of the holy month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.

Meanwhile, yesterday, the occupation forces launched a widespread raid campaign in the occupied West Bank, involving confrontations and arrest operations affecting a number of Palestinians, in addition to raiding homes and Palestinian towns in various areas, with destruction of home contents and subjecting residents to field investigations after detaining them for hours.

Violations were concentrated in the governorates of Bethlehem and Hebron, where the occupation forces stormed the Dheisheh and Al-Azza camps and the towns of Al-Khader, Al-Doha, and Beit Fajjar, with a heavy military presence, as they also raided Aida Camp north of Bethlehem, searching Palestinian homes and causing destruction and damage.

The occupation forces also stormed the town of Beit Ummar and the town of Idhna in the Hebron governorate, and raided Palestinian homes, leading to confrontations with Palestinian youths in the Al-Aroub camp north of the city, using live ammunition and gas bombs towards them, resulting in injuries among them.

This comes amid an escalation of military operations and continuous attacks targeting Palestinian cities and villages, alongside organized and protected settler assaults.
The Palestinian Information Center "Ma'an" recorded 21,166 Zionist violations since the beginning of this year until the end of March, including 1,286 carried out by settlers, reflecting the expanding circle of assaults from killing, arrest, and harassment against Palestinians.

The aggressive escalation resulted in the martyrdom of 37 Palestinians and injuries to 701 others as a result of gunfire, direct assaults, and policies of excessive force use by the occupation, according to the Palestinian center's data.
