Increase in Passenger Traffic Through Queen Alia International Airport by 157 During September

Khaberni - Queen Alia International Airport received about 834,894 passengers last month, logging a rise of 15.7% compared to the same period last year, according to a statement from the International Airport Group.

Regarding aircraft movements, the airport recorded about 6,965 movements last month, an increase of 16.9% compared to last year, while air freight movement reached 6,282 tons, representing a 10% increase compared to September 2024.

From January to September 2025, Queen Alia International Airport welcomed a total of 7,302,682 passengers, an increase of 7.5% compared to the same period last year.

From the beginning of the current year until the end of September, aircraft movements reached 59,268, a rise of 4.7%, while air freight movement was 51,547 tons, a decrease of 10.8% compared with the same period last year.

Nicola DeVillier, CEO of the International Airport Group, said that last month witnessed a gradual return to normal air traffic levels at Queen Alia International Airport, which constituted a strong rebound after the summer season.

He added that the recovery was supported by the return of Jordanian expatriates, continued demand for travel, and enhanced connectivity networks by airlines.
