Khaberni - Indian superstar Amitabh Bachchan stirred controversy on social media after joining the recently popular "Labobo" doll trend among celebrities globally, a move many considered "unexpected" from the Bollywood legend.

In a video he posted on his Instagram account, Amitabh Bachchan appeared from inside his car showing off a red "Labobo" doll hanging on the car's mirror, saying in his distinctive voice: "Ladies and gentlemen, this is Labobo.. it's now in my car."

While some artists expressed their admiration for the video, a number of followers criticized the veteran star's participation in this trend, with one commenter writing: "Sir, this doll brings bad luck, get rid of it," while another said: "We did not expect a star like Amitabh Bachchan to engage in such a silly trend."

On the other hand, some fans expressed their admiration for the video, with one writing: "Lucky Labobo, breathing next to Amitabh Bachchan."

This comes just days after the Bachchan family celebrated a special occasion, where Amitabh, Jaya, and Abhishek Bachchan received awards during the seventieth Filmfare Awards.

The star shared a photo of them together saying: "One family.. three members in the same industry, and three awards on one day.. thank you to Filmfare for 70 years of recognition."

Amitabh Bachchan is set to appear soon in the second part of the movie "Kalki 2898 AD", which has recently been controversial after the withdrawal of star Deepika Padukone from leading it.
