Likelihood of the Occupation Releasing 3 Jordanian Prisoners Names

Khaberni - Palestinian reports stated that the names of a number of Jordanian prisoners were included in the anticipated exchange deal between the resistance factions and the occupation, as part of a ceasefire agreement and ending the aggression on Gaza Strip.

According to the reports, some names of the prisoners have been circulated, while the coordinator of the Jordanian National Committee for Prisoners and Missing Persons in the occupation prisons, "Fadi Farah," confirmed that 3 of the Jordanian prisoners have contacted their families, and informed them that they are on the list of prisoners expected to be released during the deal.

According to Farah, the prisoners are:

1- Munir Abdullah Mar'i

He is sentenced to five life sentences, and has been detained since April 2, 2003.

According to Palestinian sources, Mar'i arrived in the West Bank in 1998, and joined the "Polytechnic Palestine" University in Hebron, where he was active within the "Islamic Bloc," the student wing of Hamas, and later became its leader.

During the Al-Aqsa Intifada of 2000, he founded the "Martyr Abbas Al-Oweiwi" cell affiliated with "Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades" in Hebron, which included the martyrs Tariq Dofash and Fadi Dweik, before being captured after a long pursuit by the occupation security forces.

2- Hisham Ahmad Al-Ka'abi:

He is sentenced to four life sentences, and has been detained since November 11, 2004.

He was captured by the occupation forces due to his involvement with the "Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine," and for conducting operations against the occupation while residing in Balata Camp in Nablus City, where his family originates.

3- Walid Khalid Mansour:

Sentenced to 21 years in prison, and has been detained since August 25, 2020.

Walid Mansour was captured from the area of "Ras al-Ayn" near Tel Aviv, and the occupation accused him of carrying out a stabbing operation against a settler, resulting in serious injuries.

21 prisoners..

The total number of Jordanian prisoners in the occupation's prisons is 21, among them is Abdullah Barghouti, a leader in the "Qassam Brigades," who is considered among the veteran prisoners, and whom the resistance strongly demands to be included in the list of prisoners to be released.

The last of the Jordanian prisoners to be freed were Thaer Al-Louzi and Ammar Howaitat, as part of the "Deluge of the Free" deal at the beginning of this year.
