Khaberni - The Director of Public Security, Major General Obaidallah Al-Muayta, affirmed the significant role played by the Gendarmerie in supporting the units and formations of the Directorate of Public Security, praising their high readiness and professionalism of its members in efficiently and competently executing the tasks assigned to them.
During his visit on Sunday to the Gendarmerie Command, where he met with leaders, officers, and non-commissioned officers, Major General Al-Muayta conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and his pride in their dedicated efforts in duty performance.
He indicated that the Directorate of Public Security will continue to support the Gendarmerie with all possible resources including vehicles, equipment, and human resources, to move forward in enhancing their capabilities and enabling its members to perform their duties according to the highest professional standards.
The Director of Public Security expressed his appreciation for the pivotal roles played by the Gendarmerie in maintaining security, public order, and enforcing the law, emphasizing the importance of ongoing coordination and integration among the various units and formations of the Public Security, and supporting state institutions in enhancing services provided to citizens.
Major General Al-Muayta appreciated the distinguished role demonstrated by the Gendarmerie during various expressions and marches, where they were exemplary in enforcing the law with integrity and justice, and in a manner that respects humans and their rights, thereby enhancing the great trust they enjoy among citizens, and contributing to establishing an exceptional level of security-community partnership.
Major General Al-Muayta called for taking all necessary measures and preparations for the winter season, and supporting the Civil Defense staff in providing humanitarian services and rescue operations during weather conditions and various accidents.
He pointed out that the Directorate of Public Security, with its various units and formations, will remain worthy of the confidence of the leader and the nation, under the continuous support it receives from the wise Hashemite leadership for the military and security institutions.
