A famous confectionery shop in the capital Amman has raised the prices of Kunafa by half a dinar per kilogram.
According to monitoring by Khaberni, the price of a kilogram of Kunafa at this shop reached 7 dinars, up from 6.5 dinars.
The confectionery shop did not announce the price increase or the reason for the hike on its platforms, where patrons were surprised by the new prices at the checkout.
It is expected that other confectionery shops will sequentially raise their prices following this increase.
