Khaberni - In embodying the royal vision of making Jordan a leading model in the medical sector, a specialized medical team from Queen Alia Heart Diseases and Surgery Center, chaired by Brigadier Doctor Issa Ghnem, conducted quality operations for cardiac nerve ablation (cardiac neuro ablation), for several patients suffering from conditions of heart rate slowdown, neural inhibition syndrome, and loss of consciousness.
Brigadier Doctor Issa Ghnem, head of the cardiac disease and electrophysiology department, stated that these operations are conducted for the first time at the national level in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, for patients suffering from conditions of heart rate slowdown, neural inhibition syndrome, and loss of consciousness. They were treated using vascular catheters to reach the atria where the nerve plexuses are located and eliminate them and counteract the excessive influence on the vagus nerve, indicating that this procedure is a safe alternative to installing a pacemaker, as it represents a significant development in treating functional cardiac slowdowns and fainting.
