Khaberni - Jordan today condemned in the strongest terms the targeting of the Consulate General of the sisterly United Arab Emirates in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stressed the necessity of respecting international law and the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and the Vienna Convention of 1961 on Diplomatic Relations, ensuring the protection of diplomatic missions and their members.
The Ministry also affirmed Jordan's solidarity and its absolute support for the sisterly United Arab Emirates.
