Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Al-Safadi discussed with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Republic of Iraq, Fuad Hussein, on Tuesday, the repercussions of the severe escalation that is worsening in the region, and the prospects of restoring calm and stability and activating diplomacy as a way to achieve this.
Today, the ministers warned in a telephone call of the catastrophic consequences of escalating the crisis and emphasized the need for solidarity in protecting the security and stability of the region.
Al-Safadi renewed Jordan's condemnation of the Iranian aggressions on its territory and on other Arab countries, and affirmed that the Kingdom will continue to take all necessary and available steps to protect its citizens and its security and sovereignty from any aggression on its lands and sovereignty and from any party.
Al-Safadi and Hussein affirmed their joint keenness on the historic fraternal relations between Jordan and Iraq, and the continuation of coordination and work to preserve and develop these relations.
