A Minor Cosmetic Procedure Ends in Physical Poisoning for an Egyptian Artist

Khaberni - The Egyptian artist Maisara disclosed the details of her struggle with severe poisoning she contracted after undergoing a cosmetic injection in the face, sending through her experience a warning message to her audience about the dangers of unsafe cosmetic procedures, emphasizing the importance of carefully choosing doctors and medical centers.

Maisara explained during a television interview that she underwent a facial fat injection, thinking it was simple, but the procedure turned into a serious health crisis due to a medical error.

The artist said in her talk that the syringe used was not properly sterilized and contained bacteria commonly found in hospitals, causing her to suffer a serious infection.
She added that when she noticed her health deteriorating, the doctor advised opening the wound and cleaning it, but she refused for fear of complications, so she turned to another doctor who tried to calm her down and downplay the seriousness of the situation, but things quickly worsened.

Maisara continued: "Just after 24 hours, I was transferred to the hospital in a critical condition after I was poisoned throughout my body, and I stayed there for 10 days to receive treatment and cleanse my body from the effects of the infection."

In the conclusion of her talk, the artist sent a cautionary message to women and girls, saying: "Only do what you truly need, and always ask and thoroughly check before any cosmetic procedure, because not every famous doctor is skilled in all specialities."
