Khaberni - Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation announced today the final results for the winners of the Creative Production Award for Children and Adolescents (Create) for the 21st session, based on the outcomes of the judging committees approved by the Supreme Authority of the Award.
In the literary field, for the article category in the age group (12-15) years, Rafif Mazen Al-Aqrabawi from Amman won, and for the age group (16-18) years, Jouri Mohammed Khawaja from Irbid won. In the poetry field, Youssef Bilal Al-Qadi from Amman won for the age group (12- 15) years, while Ruba Hassan Mohammed from Al-Balqa won for the age group (16-18) years.
In the newly introduced story field by Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation for this session, Taqwa Nail Al-Darawish from Amman and Hassan Issa Al-Saud from Madaba won jointly for the age group (12-15) years, as did Sajida Moaz Abu Hamad from Amman for the age group (16-18) years.
In the field of visual and plastic arts, Alice Iyas Al-Ghraibeh from Amman won in the drawing field for the age group (8-11) years, Elena Qais Abu Tineh from Amman for the age group (12-15) years, and Karmel Mohammed Salah from Amman for the age group (16-18) years.
In the field of sculpture and ceramics, Ghina Mustafa Al-Kurdi from Amman won for the age group (12-15) years, and Salma Omar Al-Shawaish from Amman for the age group (16-18) years.
In the field of caricature, Hala Mohammed Al-Masri from Amman won for the age category (8-11) years, and Joud Ibrahim Helsa from Madaba for the age category (12-15) years, as did Abdul Rahman Ashraf Al-Awamleh from Al-Balqa Governorate, and Hala Adel Qaqish from Amman jointly for the age category (16-18) years.
In the field of performing arts and for the category of Western musical instruments, Kareem Marian Bodolano from Amman won for the age category (8-11) years, and Fares Younis Khawas from the governorate of Irbid won for the Western instrument in the age group (12-15) years, as did Karam Tariq Al-Azrai from Amman for the Eastern instrument, and the Arab Community Orchestra from Amman for the Western instrument, both in the age group (16-18) years.
In the field of singing, Ners Hassan Khawaja and Majd Hassan Al-Law from Amman jointly won for the age category (8-11) years, the prize was withheld for the second age category, as did Sara Amjad Khader and Karam Thamer Al-Ettal from Amman jointly for the age category (16-18) years.
In the field of dance, Zumba Group - Zaha Cultural Center from Amman won for the age category (8-11) years, and the KPop group from Amman for the age category (12-15) years, with the prize being withheld for the age category (16-18) years.
In the field of scientific innovations and science, the prize was withheld for the age category (12-15) years, and the group of Lujain Abu Qutaish and Yara Mubarak from Amman won for the age category (16-18) years.
Valentina Quseisia, the Executive President of Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation, considered that the outcomes of the award for the current session meet the ambition and fall into the category of achieving the goals set by the foundation, which relies on them through this award.
Quseisia confirmed that the competition is very important for the target groups, especially since it includes specialized training workshops for those who qualify for the final rounds, which contributes to capacity building in all fields.
Quseisia urged parents, schools, and clubs to encourage children of various age groups to apply for the competition in its upcoming sessions, which benefits the children and adolescents, providing them more knowledge about their talents.
The scientific body of the award indicated that the submitted works were evaluated based on the outcomes of training workshops held by the foundation in the areas of the award, according to the criteria agreed upon with the High Committee of the Award, noting that this year the number of winners in various fields was 27.
The award covers "literary creativity (article, poetry, story)", "performance arts creativity (music, dance, singing)", "visual and plastic arts creativity (drawing, sculpture, ceramics, and caricature)", and "scientific innovations (sciences)".
The award aims to encourage creative energies among children, forming a serious shift towards cultural knowledge and genuine creativity that favors life, humanity, and the future, in harmony with the foundation's enlightening and intellectual role in serving future generations.
It also aims to create a healthy competitive spirit among children and adolescents, highlighting their talents and enriching their knowledge, while emphasizing the development of their abilities, improving their literary and artistic taste, supporting scientific innovation, and contributing to the preparation of a well-informed generation proficient in literary skills in the Arabic language.
The award, which was first launched in 1988 and continued until 2003, then relaunched in 2018, targets all children and adolescents residing in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; both Jordanians and non-Jordanians, within the age range of 8 to 18 years, with a condition of not submitting more than one work in the same field of the award.
