Khaberni - The internal security forces in Lebanon stopped a young man who stole $100,000 from his father’s safe in the Al-Ma'arad area of Tripoli, after a quick chase that resulted in the full amount being seized.
The Information Division in the Internal Security Forces arrested the citizen W.T after he stole a large sum of money, amounting to $100,000 US dollars, from his father's safe within the family home located in the Al-Ma'arad area in the city of Tripoli, northern Lebanon.
According to security sources, a patrol from the Information Division managed to execute a precise arrest operation in the demarcation and zoning area, just one day after the theft was carried out, where they found the stolen financial amount and seized it in full without any shortage.
The detainee was referred to the competent authorities to complete the investigations, in preparation for taking the necessary legal actions against him, under the supervision of the competent judiciary monitoring the progress of the case.
