Khaberni - The trading volume in the Jordanian real estate market during the first nine months of this year increased by 2%, compared to the same period last year; reaching 5.1 billion dinars, according to the monthly report of the Land and Survey Department.

According to the report, the Jordanian real estate trading volume in September decreased by 3% compared to the same period last year, and by 10% compared to the previous month; reaching 618.5 million dinars.

The value of revenues increased during the first nine months of this year by 3%, compared to the same period last year, amounting to about 200 million dinars, while the revenue value in September decreased by 2%, compared to the same month last year, and by 1% compared to the previous month; totaling 25 million dinars.

The real estate sales activity in Jordan during the first nine months of this year increased by 1%; apartment sales increased by 2%, and land sales increased by 1%, compared to the same period from 2024.

In September, real estate sales activity increased by 4% compared to the same period last year, and decreased by 8% compared to the previous month; where apartment sales increased by 3% compared to the same period last year, and decreased by 8% compared to the previous month, while land sales increased by 5% compared to the same month last year, and decreased by 8% compared to the previous month.

The total number of properties sold to companies in the kingdom during the first nine months of this year was 8,609 properties.

The report indicated a decrease in the number of ownership transactions for non-Jordanians during the first nine months of this year by 13%, where apartment sales decreased by 11%, and land sales decreased by 16% compared to the same period from 2024.

In September, the number of ownership transactions for non-Jordanians decreased by 10% compared to the same period last year, while it increased by 14% compared to the previous month; where apartment sales decreased by 5% compared to the same period last year, and increased by 28% compared to the previous month, while land sales decreased by 18% compared to the same month from 2024, and by 6% compared to the previous month.

The estimated value of ownership transactions for non-Jordanians during the first nine months of this year decreased by 8%, compared to the same period last year, reaching 143.8 million dinars, while the estimated value for September decreased by 3% compared to the same month last year, but increased by 26% compared to the previous month; totaling 20 million dinars.
