Khaberni - The Israeli occupation authorities have arrested about 20,000 Palestinians, including 1600 children, and 595 women in the West Bank and Jerusalem since the beginning of the escalating genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The arrest cases include those who were arrested and remained detained by the occupation and those who were later released, marking this data as a historic difference in the number of people who have been detained within just two years, with confirmation that this data does not include the cases of arrests in Gaza, which are estimated in the thousands, nor the data related to the arrest campaigns in the territories occupied in 1948.
This comes two years after the genocide started on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and the extension of the full-scale aggression on all Palestinian geographies, where institutions for prisoners "the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Prisoner's Club, and the Al-Dameer Association for Human Rights" presented, through a fact sheet, the situation of the Palestinian prisoners after the genocide, including data and figures, through which these institutions attempt to reflect the extended genocide inside the prisons and detention centers of the occupation.
