Khaberni - On Saturday, a ministerial delegation conducted an inspection tour in Ajloun Governorate, which included the historical Ajloun Castle, the Ajloun Cable Car site with its first and second stations, and the site of Mar Elias Church, and through the city center passing by the Eshtafina area, aiming to explore the reality of services, infrastructure, and needs of the tourism and service sector in the governorate.

The delegation included the Minister of Local Administration Walid Al-Masri, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Imad Al-Hijazin, the Minister of Environment Ayman Suleiman, the Minister of Education and Higher Education Azmi Mahafaza, and the Director of Ajloun Tourism Firas Al-Khattab.

The ministers praised the qualitative leap in infrastructure readiness, cleanliness level, and service reality in Ajloun, especially in sites experiencing high tourist density, confirming that the level of cooperation and coordination between the municipality and relevant entities reflects a genuine commitment to implement the terms of the comprehensive plan.

The ministers confirmed that the visit comes within the framework of supporting these achievements and accelerating the pace of work to ensure the completion of outstanding service projects, and enhancing the efficiency of employees, contributing to making Ajloun Governorate a model and sustainable tourist destination, consistent with the royal interest in the governorate.

The head of Ajloun Municipality Committee, Mohamed Bashabsheh, during the tour, referred to the most prominent projects and municipal works in the governorate, among them the rehabilitation of Ras Al-Ain and the Western Triangle areas in Anjara to set up an alternative commercial market to random stalls, rehabilitating the Hesban street in the city center, and maintenance and restoration of the water channel known as the "Roman Knot" below Ajloun city, aiming to provide a tourist passageway and an attractive environment for shopping and revitalizing the business center.
