Khaberni - Menna Shalaby apologized for not attending the "Hepta: The Final Debate" conference due to her mother's health conditions, while the rest of the movie's cast and crew attended.
The press conference for the film Hepta: The Final Debate witnessed the absence of the film's star Menna Shalaby, who apologized for not participating due to her mother’s health issues, whereas the rest of the team and some of its creators attended to discuss details of the film, which is expected to be released in cinemas next Wednesday.
The conference was held at one of the major malls in the city of 6th of October, attended by actress Mayan El Sayed, Jihan Al Shamashergy, director Hady El Bagoury, and author Mohamed Sadek, with the meeting chaired by film critic Alaa El Kashouty, head of the art department at Al-Youm Al-Saba newspaper.
The film belongs to the romantic drama genre, and its plot revolves around a debate presented by the character "Sara," portrayed by Menna Shalaby, where she tries to simplify the complexities of love through four different stories reflecting the challenges of relationships in the era of technology's impact on human emotions.
The cast includes Karim Fahmy, Salma Abu Deif, Karim Kassem, Hassan Malek, and Mayan El Sayed, along with guest stars Ashraf Abdel Baky, Hisham Maged, and Basant Shawky.
The first part of Hepta, which was released in 2016, achieved wide success with participants like Amr Youssef, Yasmine Raees, Ahmed Dawood, Dina El Sherbiny, and others. It is based on the novel by Mohamed Sadek released in 2014, which achieved record sales after issuing more than 36 editions.
