Khaberni - The number of registered companies in the Kingdom has risen since the beginning of the year until the end of last September by 20 percent compared with the same period in 2024.
According to data from the Companies Control Department, the number of companies registered in three quarters of the year was 5636 companies compared to 4715 companies during the same period last year.
The total registered capitals of companies reached 323 million dinars in the same period, while the highest type of companies in terms of number were "Limited Liability Companies", amounting to 4078 companies, representing 72.4 percent of the total registered capitals with a value exceeding 104 million dinars.
The number of companies whose registration was dissolved or canceled decreased by 33 percent from the same period of 2024, with a decrease of 901 companies from 1343.
The rate of capital increase collected increased by 148 percent from the same period of 2024. In this period, 1300 companies raised their capitals to about 1.16 billion dinars, while 203 companies reduced their capitals by about 194 million dinars.
