The total number of apartments sold in the Kingdom during the first eleven months of this year was 33,733 apartments, an increase of 1% compared to the same period last year, which recorded 33,440 apartments, according to the monthly report from the Land and Survey Department.

According to data monitored by "Khaberni", the total number of apartments sold in November last year was 3,019 apartments, compared with 2,906 apartments in the same month last year, an increase of 4% and a decrease of 5.4% compared to the preceding October, which recorded 3,190 apartments.

According to the report, the number of apartments sold that are larger than 150 square meters during the first eleven months of the year increased by 6%, totaling 16,180 apartments, compared to the same period in 2024, which recorded 14,370 apartments.

Also, apartment sales of the same size during last November increased by 5%, totaling 1,346 apartments, compared to the same month in 2024, which recorded 1,283 apartments.

Also, the number of apartments sold that are smaller than 120 square meters increased by 3% during the first eleven months of this year, totaling 10,430 apartments, compared to the same period last year, which recorded 10,081 apartments.

And during last month, the number of apartments sold that are smaller than 120 square meters increased by reached 17%, with sales of 996 apartments, compared to the same month in 2024, which recorded 850 apartments.

However, apartments measuring between120 and150 square meters, saw a decline in sales during the first eleven months by 3%, totaling 8,698 apartments, compared with 8,989 apartments sold in the same period from 2024, according to the report, while the sales rate increased 4% last November, totaling 804 apartments, compared to 773 apartments sold in the same period from 2024, according to the report.

The Cabinet had issued a decision on 12 November 2024, exempting residential apartments that are over 150 square meters from 50% of registration fees, in addition to the previous decision to exempt apartments that are smaller than 150 square meters by 100% from registration fees.
