Khaberni - The Russian Deputy National Security Advisor, Dmitry Medvedev, expressed his mockery of US President Donald Trump.

He said that the United States did not send nuclear submarines to the Russian coasts as Trump had promised.

The former Russian President wrote in a post on his X platform account in English, on Wednesday, "A new episode of the thriller series.. Trump once again talked about the submarines he claims to have sent to the Russian shores, insisting that they are very well hidden."

He also added: "It's hard to find a black cat in a dark room as they say, especially if it's not there."

This came after Trump described Medvedev on Tuesday as "a stupid person."

He also confirmed that he had moved one or two submarines towards the Russian coasts, according to Reuters.

Note that the American president had announced last August that he ordered two nuclear submarines to "appropriate regions" in response to threats from Medvedev.

At that time, via the "Truth Social" platform, he said, "Based on the very provocative statements made by the Russian Deputy National Security Advisor, I issued my orders to move two nuclear submarines to the appropriate areas, in anticipation that these reckless statements might be more than just statements."

Trump had previously warned Moscow against stalling in ending the war in Ukraine. He explained in June that he had given Kyiv and the Russian side two weeks to make progress in peace negotiations, or face consequences.

In response, Medvedev then stated that any new warning to his country would be a step towards war!
