Khaberni - A meeting was held at the Amman Chamber of Industry, where the Director-General of the Chamber, Dr. Nael Al-Husami, met with the CEO of Miqyas for Technical Consulting, Consultant Adel Al-Ghamdi, aiming to help Jordanian companies and factories export to the Gulf countries and particularly to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, several important points were discussed, most notably providing advisory services to Jordanian factories with the aim of finding technical solutions to overcome the problems faced by exporters to Saudi Arabia and the Gulf market, and clarifying the most important requirements and specifications for products according to Gulf and Saudi standards.
An agreement was made for Miqyas Company to conduct training workshops in Jordan targeting various sectors to raise awareness of requirements and standards. Both parties also agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding in the coming days containing important clauses that serve the interest of the Jordanian product, including holding seminars and workshops, contributing to the dissemination of Saudi requirements and standards among manufacturers, making connections with importers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, visiting a number of factories to discuss and develop their export experiences, and many other related clauses.
The Quality and Environment Officer at the Amman Chamber of Industry, Engineer Roz Al-Samadi, affirmed that the Chamber is working on assisting Jordanian factories interested in exporting, which reflects on the increase of Jordanian exports to the Saudi market, which is considered one of the large and important markets for Jordanian exports.
