Marcus Leonardo The idea of leaving Al Hilal ends with shaking the net

Khaberni - The Brazilian Marcus Leonardo, a player for Al Hilal, did not expect a few days ago that his situation with the team would change dramatically as he continued to score goals after being re-listed, while he had previously been contemplating a way to leave the Saudi team.

Leonardo (22 years old) scored his third goal in two matches after being re-listed in the Al Hilal local Saudi roster, leading his team to a 3-2 victory over their host Nasaf of Uzbekistan with a last-minute goal.

Prior to that, Leonardo wanted to leave Al Hilal first by transferring to his compatriot Sao Paulo before the negotiations stalled due to the two clubs not reaching an agreement on the deal, then ESPN reported at the end of the summer transfer window in mid-current month in Saudi Arabia about Marcus's desire to find a legal way to terminate his contract with the blue team.

But everything changed with the injury of Portuguese Joao Cancelo, which will sideline him for about two months, as Al Hilal re-registered the name of the former Benfica Portuguese striker in the local list, and in his first game after his return he scored a double against Al Akhdood in the league competition to win his team 3-1 after being down by a goal.

While Al Hilal was heading towards walking away with a draw point against their Uzbek host, Marcus Leonardo appeared and scored the winning goal in the 79th minute to bring his team to six points in the elite Asian Champions League from two matches.

Leonardo has played 47 matches with Al Hilal in all competitions, scoring 32 goals, including 4 historic goals in the FIFA Club World Cup, while providing four crucial assists.
