Khaberni - The spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Defense, Turki Al-Maliki, announced the interception and destruction of 7 ballistic missiles launched towards the Eastern region of the Kingdom and the falling of parts of missile debris in the vicinity of energy facilities.
In a statement, Al-Maliki said that Saudi air defenses managed to counter the ballistic missiles, noting that specialized teams continue evaluating the damages caused by the debris fall around the energy facilities.
Social media users shared scenes showing the fall of an Iranian missile in the industrial area of Jubail in Eastern Saudi Arabia, confirming the scale of escalation in the region, without an official statement about the losses.
This comes as the American-Israeli war on Iran continues for the thirty-ninth consecutive day, with ongoing exchange of missile strikes and drones targeting several Gulf countries.
Saudi Arabia had announced on previous occasions the interception of Iranian missiles and drones, affirming its readiness to counter any threats to the Kingdom.
