Saudi Arabia Announces Precautionary Closure of King Fahd Bridge with Bahrain

Khaberni- The Saudi authorities announced the precautionary closure of the King Fahd Bridge, which connects the Kingdom with the Kingdom of Bahrain, due to security alerts about the potential for an attack.
The King Fahd Bridge Authority said, "Referring to the alerts issued by the National Early Warning Platform in the Eastern Region in the past few hours, the movement of vehicles on the King Fahd Bridge has been suspended precautionarily."

The world awaits the end of the deadline set by US President Donald Trump for Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz at 3 AM tomorrow, Wednesday.

The US President stated that "the gates of hell" will open on Iran if it does not comply with the deadline, and will return it to "the Stone Age."

The bridge, which was opened in 1986, is about 25 km long and 23 meters wide, and begins from the south of Khobar city in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, and ends at the village of Al-Jasra in Bahrain.
