Khaberni - The Dubai Police General Command has recorded two world records in the "Guinness" Book of Records during their participation in the Dubai Marathon 2026.
The team, led by Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the General Commander of Dubai Police, received the two record certificates from the participating team at the Dubai Police Officers’ Club, in the presence of Brigadier Dr. Jasim Mohammad Hassan, Deputy Director of the General Department of Training.
The first record was achieved by coach Saeed Bilal, after he recorded a world time in the category of running wearing a Taekwondo suit for a distance of 10 kilometers in a time of 48.6 minutes.
The second record was achieved by Second Lieutenant Hassan Bilal, Sergeant First Class Aref Abdul Razzaq, Corporal First Class Nabil Al Shami, and Corporal First Class Mohammad Sharif, by carrying a 70-kilogram casualty on a stretcher for a distance of 10 kilometers in a time of 56.50 minutes.
