Khaberni - The platform "Shahid" is preparing to showcase a new program by the media personality Bassem Youssef titled "Restart," which was filmed years ago on an island belonging to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and covers alternative dietary patterns.
Egyptian local sources have revealed that the platform "Shahid" has contracted with the Egyptian media personality Bassem Youssef to broadcast his new program titled "Restart," after a long period of preparation and searching for a suitable broadcasting entity. The announcement of the program coincides with Bassem Youssef's appearance in special episodes of the program "Kelmet Akhira" on the ON channel, presented by media personality Ahmed Salem.
The program consists of six episodes that were entirely filmed in English, on one of the islands belonging to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
The program offers a different experience in the world of healthy nutrition, focusing on diets that do not rely on animal protein or meat, but instead showcase methods aimed at reducing weight and improving overall health through radical lifestyle changes.
Throughout the program episodes, Bassem Youssef discusses with a group of guests who have undergone this experience themselves, and managed to make significant transformations in their health and daily lives, whether in terms of weight, physical activity, or health indicators related to food.
The program also highlights the scientific and behavioral aspects related to vegetarian nutrition and alternative healthy choices.
According to the same sources, the program remained postponed despite being completed several years ago, due to challenges related to the language in which it was produced, as it was recorded entirely in English, which initially made marketing it to traditional Arab entities difficult.
Finally, the platform "Shahid" managed to obtain the digital broadcasting rights for the program and is preparing to launch it on its platform in the upcoming near term.
The airing of "Restart" comes at a time when there is a noticeable return of Bassem Youssef to the Arab media scene, after years of absence, as he began presenting a series of special episodes within the program "Kelmet Akhira" on the ON channel, which has brought his name back into the media scene anew, with renewed interest from the audience in following his upcoming projects.
