Khaberni - US President Donald Trump announced today, Sunday, that there is a "real opportunity to achieve great achievements in the Middle East".

Trump provided no details about his announcement that followed days after he stated that he was about to reach an agreement to end the war in Gaza.

In a post on "Truth Social", Trump said: "We have a real opportunity to achieve great achievements in the Middle East. Everyone is ready for something special. Something we will achieve for the first time ever."

Yesterday, Saturday, Israel's Channel 12 reported, citing a knowledgeable source, that "negotiations regarding the Gaza deal are ongoing and adjustments are being made to the draft proposal all the time," indicating at the same time that "Washington has decided to move towards a deal that could be phased and that President Donald Trump wants to end the war."

The source added to the channel: "The goal is to reach an agreement by the time Trump meets Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu next Monday."

Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that negotiations on a ceasefire in Gaza continue and the United States will exert its influence on Israel.

On the other hand, Channel 12 reported that "the Southern Command in the Israeli army intends to move to a new phase of the military operation in Gaza, where it studies in the coming days restricting movement towards the south of the strip, with subjecting everyone to inspection, in order to prevent Hamas elements from reaching 'humanitarian areas' - according to the occupation claims - .
