Vance accuses Ilhan Omar of fraud through marriage to her brother

Khaberni - U.S. Vice President JD Vance claimed on Friday that Representative Ilhan Omar "defrauded" the United States by her alleged marriage to her brother to help him stay in the country legally.
Vance told right-wing broadcaster Benny Johnson in the latest episode of his show: "We truly believe that Ilhan Omar has definitely committed immigration fraud against the United States," he said.
Omar had previously described these claims as "disgusting lies," while these allegations have haunted the Congress member since before her campaign for the House of Representatives elections in 2018.

Vance added that he was discussing legal solutions with White House senior deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, explaining that questions had been raised: "How do you pursue her? How do you investigate her? How do you actually build the case to achieve some justice for the American people?"

The Vice President claimed that the Democratic representative from Minnesota "was at the heart of much of the worst fraudsters in the Somali community," and that this matter should also be under investigation.

Vance said: "I am concerned about immigration, and also concerned about what Ilhan Omar knew about what was happening in the Somali American community? And why was nobody looking into it until President Donald Trump explicitly came along?"

It's worth noting that Ilhan Omar, who immigrated to America from Somalia, was 17 years old when she became a naturalized American citizen in 2000.
