Dr. Lozi emphasized the importance of building sustainable partnerships based on knowledge exchange, and activating integrative roles between both parties, while Dr. Abu Haseera pointed out the importance of such partnerships in developing quality programs targeting the youth sector, and enhancing Jordan's presence on both regional and international tourism maps.
Moreover, the Faculty of Media hosted Dr. Arabiyat in a dialogue session overseen by the project coordinator and lecturer in the faculty, Ms. Saba Al-Sukkar, with the participation of a group of people interested in cultural tourism, national heritage, and a group of students.
The media college meeting highlighted the institutional efforts aimed at preserving the inclusion of Al-Salt city on the World Heritage List, officially adopted by UNESCO in 2021, as a city of exceptional human value at both the architectural and social levels.
In his speech, Dr. Arabiyat mentioned that the Authority had worked over the past years to ensure compliance with the international standards set by UNESCO, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Greater Salt Municipality, and the city residents themselves, within a participatory model combining formal planning and community participation.
Ms. Saba Al-Sukkar, a faculty member, praised the importance of this meeting, which contributes to enhancing the integration between academic education and the developmental reality, pointing out that graduation projects in the college increasingly focus on internal tourism and showcasing national heritage as an economic and cultural resource simultaneously.
Further, Ms. Al-Sukkar valued the ongoing cooperation with the Faculty of Media, particularly in areas related to producing promotional content, and developing targeted media campaigns, noting that this collaboration is considered a role model in linking university students with the institutional reality and preparing them to be effective in serving their national causes through their specialized tools.
