Khaberni - Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan participated in the informative session on the Crown Prince Award for Best Government Services Application, organized by the Crown Prince Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship at the Arab Youth Center, as part of the university’s effort to enhance its presence in national initiatives supporting entrepreneurship and innovation, and expanding the horizons of its students in areas of creativity and competitiveness.
The session included a presentation by specialists from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, who reviewed details of the award for the year 2026, including its objectives, stages, participation requirements, and evaluation criteria, all contributing to enabling students to understand the nature of the award and motivating them to develop innovative digital solutions that improve the quality and efficiency of government services.
Dr. Bilal Al-Wadi, Director of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, affirmed that the university continues to cement an educational environment conducive to entrepreneurship and innovation, continuously striving to empower its students and connect them with quality national initiatives, enhancing their capabilities to transform their ideas into impactful entrepreneurial projects. He also highlighted the role of the university in supporting student initiatives and promoting a culture of creativity and excellence among its students.
Dr. Al-Wadi also showcased the university's most prominent achievements in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation, pointing out its active presence in supporting student projects and participating in relevant national events, reflecting its commitment to enhancing its role as a leading educational institution in this field.
The participation included a field tour for the university's students at the Arab Youth Center facilities, where they observed the center's various services targeted at entrepreneurs, including manufacturing and training services, facilities designated for events and meetings, in addition to mechanisms for utilizing these in developing entrepreneurial projects and ideas, which contribute to honing their skills and enhancing their job market readiness.
