Khaberni - The Petra University family, represented by its president Prof. Dr. Rami Abdel Rahim, the academic and administrative staff, and its students, is mourning three martyrs of duty from the Anti-Narcotics Department, who were elevated to martyrdom while performing their national duty in defense of the security and stability of the homeland.
The university has affirmed its support and stands by the security forces in their efforts to protect the community and combat the scourge of drugs, expressing its pride and honor for the sacrifices made by the men of the Public Security in preserving the kingdom's assets and the safety of its citizens.
The deceased include First Lieutenant Murad As'oud Al-Mawajdeh, Sergeant Khaldoun Ahmad Al-Raqab, and Corporal Subhi Mohammad Duweikat, who were killed by direct gunfire while carrying out a security raid on one of the dangerous wanted individuals east of the capital, Amman.
The security force managed to control the wanted individual, arrest him, and seize firearms and quantities of drugs in his possession.
The university family prays to the Almighty God to envelop the martyrs with His vast mercy and admit them into His vast gardens, and to grant a speedy recovery to the injured non-commissioned officer.
