Trump These fools think I wasnt harsh enough with Iran

Khaberni - US President Donald Trump denied accusations from his critics that he was not firm enough with Iran, and cited the drop in oil prices after the signing of the memorandum of understanding with the Iranian side.

President Trump wrote on the platform "Truth Social": "Stock markets are hitting new record highs and oil prices are falling".

He added: "For those who thought I was not firm enough with Iran, the stock markets are recording record levels".

The US president continued: "For those who thought I was not firm enough with Iran, they are either envious or bad people".

In a statement yesterday, President Trump stated that the United States could have continued bombing Iran for up to two years, but that would not have led to the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, noting that without the deal with Iran, the strait would not have been opened.

Indeed, oil prices declined after the United States and Iran signed a memorandum of understanding to halt the war, which includes opening the Strait of Hormuz and lifting sanctions on Iranian oil.

The signatures of both President Trump and the Iranian President Masoud Bazshkyan appeared side by side on the English and Persian versions of the memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran to end the war.

Under the name "Islamabad Understanding", this document aims to establish a new path aimed at permanently stopping the war between the two countries.
