AlHussein Irbid Sets a Date with AlWehdat After a Triumphant Win over AlJazeera

Khaberni - Al-Hussein Irbid has set a semi-final date with Al-Wehdat in the Jordan Cup after defeating Al-Jazeera three goals to one in the quarter-finals tonight, Thursday.

Al-Hussein dominated the match from the first half, starting with direct, varied offensive play, and at the 18th minute, Youssef Abu al-Ghzal opened the scoring with a fantastic shot, and Rizq Bani Hani solidified the lead with a spectacular catch and turn goal at the 36th minute, ending the first half two goals to none.

In the second half, Al-Hussein continued to press until Obaida Namarna penetrated the box in the 68th minute and delivered a decisive pass to Aref Al-Hajj, who netted it before the substitute Yassin Kakouri reduced the score and marked the only goal for Al-Jazeera at the 90th minute.


The match was also the first for coach Ahmed Hayel after his return to coaching Al-Hussein, replacing the Brazilian coach Franco.
