Stepping on the Logo Ignites Crisis Between Atletico and Arsenal

Khaberni - The Atletico Madrid vs. Arsenal game ended on a fiery note after the match concluded with a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals at the Metropolitano Stadium.
Victor Guicares opened the scoring for Arsenal just before the end of the first half, before Juliano Alvarez equalized for the hosts in the second half, leaving the decision postponed to the second leg.

However, the excitement did not stop at the final whistle, as a heated altercation erupted between Ben White, the Arsenal defender, and Juliano Simeone, the Atletico Madrid winger, in the locker room corridor.

According to "Marca" newspaper, the crisis began when White stepped on the Atletico Madrid logo painted on the ground while heading to the tunnel, which was considered a provocative act that enraged Simeone's son, quickly escalating into a tense verbal confrontation.
As soon as Diego Simeone, the coach of Atletico Madrid, noticed what happened, he confronted White, considering it disrespectful, while Atletico's technical staff tried to calm the atmosphere and prevent the situation from worsening.

This incident cast a shadow over the atmosphere of the encounter, with some considering it unsporting, heightening the anticipation for the second leg on May 5th at the Emirates Stadium in London, which will determine the qualifier to the Champions League finals.
