A new generation armed with patience and willpower to protect the sanctuary
Author: عبدالله الربيحات

Khaberni - In a moment of pride and dignity where the heartbeats accelerate with pride, I stood today as a witness in the field of honor on a national day par excellence; the graduation day of the first batch from the military service in its new attire. The scene before me was not just a traditional military graduation ceremony, but a solemn proclamation of the birth of a new generation of national guardians, a generation that realized early and with certainty that this nation was not built with ease nor preserved with hesitation, but was built with the sweat of brows, the steadfastness of positions, and the blood of sacrifices.

My eyes wandered among the faces of the graduates, and in the sparkle of their eyes, I saw a painting depicting the promising future of Jordan; enthusiasm flowing like a lifeblood in the body, and positive energy filling the spaces. These youth, who came from every direction and from all walks of life, stood today side by side, shoulder to shoulder, embodying the finest pictures of national unity. They learned in the field of manhood that fear was never characteristic of Jordanians, and that courage is the legacy passed down from generation to generation.
In the "Arab Army" school, under the guidance of the most skilled trainers and officers who were honed by experience, the training was not limited to martial arts, military discipline, and high professionalism, but also extended to building a complete personality. They acquired exceptional life skills and transformed into leaders in discipline, time management, and team spirit in facing crises, as manifested in the lofty royal vision expressed by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. For them, the military is not just a rank, but a spirit of belonging to something greater than oneself; it is the melding of soul and thought in the crucible of love for Jordan.
The revival of the military service project and enriching the community with these young talents carry deep strategic implications at this critical time, for we, as His Royal Highness the Crown Prince pointed out, are witnessing a phase of escalation that requires awareness, responsibility, readiness, and a national sense that puts Jordan first. From here, this step reaffirms to the whole world that our values are steadfast and unchanging, but clinging to the methods of yesterday is no longer an option. We need young arms and enlightened minds that keep up with the times, carrying arms in one hand in defense of the sanctuary, and building the future with the other hand in construction and development.
I left the graduation field, with the echo of confident military steps and the chant of the youth reverberating in my ears, carrying with me a firm conviction that Jordan is fine, and will remain a steadfast fortress unshaken by winds, as long as it has youth who believe in their hearts that there is no glory except for those who take challenge as a path, patience as a weapon, and determination as an inexhaustible fuel. Military service is not just days spent in camps, but a real investment in the most precious thing we possess; the Jordanian human.
