Barcelona can clinch the title in the next round on Sunday if they defeat Osasuna at "El Sadar" stadium on Saturday, and if Real Madrid fails to win against Espanyol at "Cornella El Prat" the following day.
The second opportunity will be in the Clasico against Real Madrid, where Barcelona currently leads La Liga by 11 points over their royal rival.
The newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", quoting "Catalonia Radio", mentioned that the La Liga Cup will be present at "Spotify Camp Nou" in the Clasico, and will be handed to Barcelona at the end of their match against Real Madrid if they are crowned champions.
It added that the Spanish Football Federation has informed Barcelona of its intention to deliver the cup as soon as possible, although historically the cup has been awarded in the first match at Barcelona's ground after clinching the title.
If Barcelona clinches the title in the Clasico, they will have another match at "Spotify Camp Nou" on Sunday, May 17, against Real Betis to hold the trophy ceremony.
Nevertheless, the Spanish Football Federation is open to breaking tradition and allowing Barcelona to lift the cup minutes after their victory over Real Madrid.
If Barcelona defeats Osasuna and Real Madrid falters against Espanyol, Rafa Luzan, the president of the Spanish Football Federation, will also travel to Barcelona on May 10 to present the cup right after the Clasico.
