Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi discussed on Tuesday with Greek Foreign Minister Georgios Gerapetritis ways to enhance bilateral relations and developments in the region.
Safadi and Gerapetritis, during a phone call, affirmed their mutual commitment to enhance prospects of cooperation between the two countries in various fields bilaterally, and through the trilateral cooperation mechanism with Cyprus, within the framework of partnership with the European Union.
Safadi and Gerapetritis stressed the importance of the political consultations that will be held today between the two countries' foreign ministries, and the necessity to build upon them.
They also discussed regional developments, prospects for ending escalation, and the efforts made to achieve security and stability in the region.
