Khaberni - The External Patrols Administration in the General Security Directorate revealed today, Tuesday, the cause of the desert road accident that led to the burning of a tanker of petroleum materials and 3 trucks on Monday, after the investigations were concluded.
The administration explained that the accident was caused by the failure to take the necessary traffic safety precautions by the fuel tanker driver, which resulted in the tanker's skidding and deviation from the southbound lane to the lane towards the capital, Amman, resulting in the tanker's fire in addition to 3 trucks.
It added that the accident resulted in a moderate injury to the tanker driver, who was then transported to Al-Totanji Hospital.
